The best known ones are the many stretches that the therapist employs – hence the title ‘lazy yoga’ – the fact that the recipient remains fully clothed wearing loose, comfortable clothing or Thai-style pyjamas, and lies on a firm mattress on the floor.

I work on the ten major Sen Lines (Chinese meridians) using limb manipulation, stretching and meridian line pressure techniques to facilitate deep relaxation and pain relief.

The massage commences with the client’s feet and I then use a combination of elbows, forearms, thumbs, fingers and fist; and possibly feet on a client’s body during a Traditional, Authentic Thai Massage.

No oils or lotions were traditionally used in Nuad Thai, traditional Thai massage.

However, I use Thai herbal balms or warm oil if required and desired to alleviate deep knots.

The recipient retains their pants or boxers during an oil massage.

It’s a therapeutic not sensual massage!

As a highly experienced therapist I tailor my massages my clients’ individual needs and abilities; as such it’s possible to do a session that contains mostly stretches, but also possible to do a session that contains hardly any or even no stretches at all.

Client’s afterwards feel balanced, rejuvenated and experience a reduction of pain and stress.

Regular Thai massage has many benefits for the individual. The gentle pressure on energy lines plus, the yoga-like stretching, relax the whole body on a deeper level. This deeper level of relaxation improves the individuals’ personal outlook, and their emotional status.
